    The City of Parksville has a workforce of approximately 80 full time employees and several part time employees as well. We hire people in a range of positions including labourers, equipment operators, facility and grounds workers, administrative assistants, planning and engineering staff and a variety of administrative positions.

    Job opportunities are posted publicly when they become available. Employment advertisements are posted in the local newspapers and in most cases, several weeks' notice is given for the deadline for submission of applications. The City does not retain applications received outside of a posted job opportunity.
