In the 1980’s and 90’s, the Shelly Road Centre was the public works yard for the City of Parksville. Since 2000, the building has been used by community groups and organizations. In 2013, the area where Shelly Road Centre is located was designed at parkland and in 2015, the Pioneer Crescent Neighbourhood Residents Association requested formal park status and since that time have worked to improve the area with the addition of trees, plantings, pathways benches and picnic tables.

The Shelly Road Centre is available for rental by community groups, organizations and individuals. For information, please contact:
