WATCH CLERK (RCMP)

Reporting to the Office Manager of the RCMP Oceanside Detachment, the incumbent provides administrative and clerical support to all RCMP members. This position is expected to perform records management functions and demonstrate efficient and professional customer service on the phone or at the front counter. This position serves as a main point of contact and will provide routine information and refer customers to the appropriate contact for non-routine matters.

DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, this position is responsible for managing the municipality’s administrative functions, while also leading initiatives related to risk management, corporate policy refinement, and project management. Leadership of the Administration department includes identifying and mitigating organizational risks, ensuring legal and legislative compliance, and improving overall operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to local, provincial, and federal regulations. The successful candidate will liaise with multiple levels of government, community members, and other stakeholders to implement initiatives and improve processes.

MANAGER OF UTILITIES

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position is responsible for managing the activities of the Arrowsmith Water Services (AWS) and the Englishman River Water Services (ERWS), as well as the City of Parksville water and utilities services.
