Manager of Infrastructure
The City of Parksville is seeking a Manager of Infrastructure who wishes to work in a supportive and dynamic atmosphere leading the activities and operations of the infrastructure engineering team within the Engineering Department. Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Operations, the Manager of Infrastructure will be responsible for the City's capital works program, traffic/transportation engineering, maintenance of master plans, engineering inspection and GIS. The person in this position provides technical and design expertise for a wide variety of municipal infrastructure programs related to but not limited to roads, transportation, sanitary sewer, water utilities, storm drainage facilities, buildings, facilities and parks. The Manager of Infrastructure will strive to develop and maintain the City’s capital plans to ensure the long-term viability of municipal infrastructure.
