Engineering Department

The engineering department is responsible for oversight of the City’s municipal engineering, including infrastructure and utility management, capital projects, land development engineering, and support services. Staff ensure contracts and contractors are following City bylaws, policies and industry best practices, and delivering the best value to residents and visitors for public assets.

The City’s information systems department and the emergency management program through Emergency Management Oceanside are departments within engineering.
