Deadline to submit proposals is Thursday, April 13 at 2 pm PST.

The City of Parksville requests proposals for:

  • The supply, delivery, supervision of offloading, installation, inspection, commissioning, and testing of one 1000 kW diesel engine driven generator set with 36 hour sub-base fuel tank with fuel fill spill prevention, fuel cleaning system (priced separately), sound attenuated outdoor walk-in enclosure with fiberglass access stairs and platform, neutral grounding resister (NGR), and with controls and appurtenances necessary for an operating system.
  • The City will also entertain pricing options for dual 500 kW generator sets in series.

As part of the annual operations program, the City requires the application of centre line, edge line and intersection markings and is seeking request for proposals for 2017 Road Marking and Thermoplastic Program; deadline April 4, 2017, at 2 pm (PST) to the Operations Department, 1116 Herring Gull Way, Parksville.

The City of Parksville is looking to replace the aging splash park in the Parksville Community Park. The successful proponent must provide a quotation that will include all the necessary materials and labour needed to design and construct the proposed splash park. A flat graded area will be provided to the successful bidder with power and water to the site. The City has a budget of $250,000 in 2017/2018 to complete the project.

The City is requesting proposals from organizations which have expertise in the delivery of the above noted services. Selection will be made considering design objectives, water consumption, equipment quality and available warranty. References for similar projects must be included within the proposal.
