Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Council of the City of Parksville on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Parksville Civic and Technology Centre, 100 Jensen Avenue East, Parksville, BC to consider public representations on the following bylaw:
In general terms, the purpose of the proposed amendment bylaw is to permit the use of outdoor street patio seating areas for food and beverage service on City streets and sidewalks within the downtown core.
A copy of the proposed bylaw is available for viewing from Thursday, April 24, 2025, to and including Wednesday, May 21, 2025, on the City's website using the following link: https://parksville.civicweb.net/filepro/documents/73108/
A copy of the bylaw may also be viewed in person at the planning department or requested by email at planning@parksville.ca
At the Hearing, the public will be allowed to make representations to City Council respecting matters contained in the proposed bylaw and all persons who believe their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the bylaw.
Any person wishing to provide written comment to Council regarding the proposed bylaw should submit it to the attention of Mayor and Council, care of the City Administration department:

NOTICE OF UPDATED WATER AND SEWER PARCEL TAX ROLLS
As per section 208 of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that the following Parcel Tax Rolls are now available for inspection at www.parksville.ca and at the City of Parksville Finance Department located at Parksville Community and Technology Centre, 100 Jensen Avenue East, Parksville, BC between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday, except statutory holidays:
A person who owns a parcel included on either of the parcel tax rolls may request that the roll be amended, only in relation to the person’s own property, on the following grounds:- There is an error or omission respecting a name or address on the parcel tax roll.
- There is an error or omission respecting the inclusion of a parcel.
- There is an error or omission respecting the taxable area or the taxable frontage of a parcel.
- An exemption has been improperly allowed or disallowed.
