RCMP
Policing within the City of Parksville, and the remainder of the Oceanside area, is carried out by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) who maintain a modern detachment in Parksville. There are approximately 12 municipal police officers and 25 provincial police officers serving Parksville and the surrounding area.
There are several organizations within Oceanside that work with and assist the Oceanside Detachment in keeping our community enjoyable and safe. The City encourages you to get involved in such community groups and through this civic partnership, we can make your neighbourhood and all our City neighbourhoods even better places to live, work and play.
