Parksville Volunteer Fire Department to Host Open Houses August 7 and August 9, 2008 The Parksville Volunteer Fire Department will host two open houses for Parksville residents. Residents will be given the opportunity to see the department's firefighting equipment, tour the fire hall and talk with firefighters about the proposed renovation and addition to the existing fire hall.
Thursday, August 7 - 4 pm to 8 pm The Fire Department encourages all Parksville residents to stop by the Fire Hall at any time or during the open houses to obtain information about the history of the proposed Fire Hall Expansion Project. In order to proceed with the renovation and addition, the City of Parksville requires the approval of residents to borrow the funds required for construction. We hope you will take the time to look at the proposed project, ask questions and make an informed decision. The Parksville Volunteer Fire Department looks forward to welcoming residents at their open houses on August 7 and August 9.
